The foundation was established on the initiative and with the funds from the estate of Dr. Albrecht & Margot Hüni-Michel. The founders wished to support the Kunstmuseum Basel in the acquisition of works. The focus is on contemporary artists within the Department of Prints and Drawings. Together with its leadership we review potential acquisitions. The foundation board consists of Graham Lancashire and Christoph Moser.
